Upcoming launch Silicon stilettos
new women&tech meetup
Next Week the launch of a new informal tech meetup will take place in London where women will be in the majority! Named SILICON STILETTOS it’s mission is clear: “What’s 80/20? It’s a typical ratio of men versus women at most tech meet-ups. Isn’t it about time it was the other way around?”. Our thenextwomen editor Zuzanna Pasierbinska-Wilson is the creator of this over-cocktails meetup. So any woman in tech, writing about tech or running a tech start-up can join. Many female internet heroes are on the list, among which Louise Campbell of Ehive and Julia McMillan of Toyboywarehouse.
Zuzanna herself is Head of Marketing Communications (or Fluff) at Huddle.net, the unified collaboration platform with a social networking twist. Zuzanna’s passion for ‘riding horses and roping cattle’ is yet to result in her own start-up for people equally obsessed with the equine. For her Silicon Stilettos startup, already more than 100 women signed up.
