Mariëlle Sijgers is awarded the Recruiter of the Year 2008. Sijgers is founder and director of CYBERDIGMA, an experimental lab for social media and Web 2.0- applications. The viral campaign that she created to attract students, with features of Popidol and an application on Hyves, had outstanding results and was in line with the use of the web by the target group according to The Network of European Recruiters.

Sijgers is investor and founder in a couple of internet ventures, such as

MINDZ a professional network for independent professionals, still in private beta, where one can ‘connect, meet and share’ and SEATS2MEET an online booking service for meeting venues.
