Internet in election time: is it a blessing or a curse?
The impact of internet on the American election has been enormous. Among others, it has given Obama the possibility to raise huge amounts of money, and it has given the public the possibility to show to the world its approval and disapproval of candidates. Pranks, imitations and jokes may have had more influence than the actual ideas, mission statements of and debates between the candidates. To know what some people talk about when discussing the influence of simple video’s, we have listed a few. And our question is: Are the viral possibilities of the internet a blessing or a curse in election time?
