That’s cool marketing: 10.000 members and not even a website.
It looks that the successful 125 mio sale of the women newsletter Daily Candy, got some other women thinking: I can do that. After the launch of GOOP by Gwyneth Paltrop, tv celebrity and Apprentice winner Michelle Dewberry, also starts a venture based on a weekly email newsletter. Chiconomise, is meant for style-savvy and cost-conscious ladies, working in London, who want to read about all the best deals in the worlds of fashion, beauty, restaurants and night-life. Co-founder is Phoebe Frangoul a self acclaimed ‘very clever lady’ who was previously editor of Glamour and co-founded alternative fashion magazine, Pamflet.
And the amazing thing – we have to talk to them – is that according to City AM she has gotten some 10,000 subscribers interested in just four weeks.
What they get is ‘cheeky tips and tricks that will allow them to live well while watching their pennies. Each week, they will be publishing ‘[only] 6 of the best deals’.
It’s not even mentioned yet on her own website.., but you can follow her and the venture on Twitter.
