Startup: Sue Guerrieri’s Sugaplumshop launches

sue guerrieriSue Guerrieri realised there was a huge gap in the market for specialised teenage underwear when her daughter, Geneva, became a teenager. And thus she started a company, selling teenage underwear online via THESUGAPLUMSHOP, the new site launched May 1, 2009. It got already rave reviews. such as “We’re lovin SugaPlum, a brand new, fresh, funky approach to teen underwear and a must have brand for 2009!”

She says: “The only underwear specifically for teenagers that is out there, is purely functional and extremely bland. I knew there had to be a better way. And given my business experience, passion for fashion, and long-term goal to launch my own venture, setting up an on-line teenage underwear store seemed the perfect solution. SugaPlum Shop, which is exclusively dedicated to teenage underwear, was born.

Through my extensive research I know that teenagers want underwear that is trendy and fun. So my mission for SugaPlum is to meet this demand. I am therefore delighted to introduce my new branded collection, which combines everyday basics with innovative themed collections that take inspiration from the sports field to the Far East!afbeelding-2
