Female Entrepreneurs Talk to Business Matters about Enterprise
This week on Business Matters – the inside story of how business is shaping our world – six women, who had careers in the world of traditional business that decided to become entrepreneurs, are featured in a radio programme exploring the valuable aspects of female led enterprise.
Thomas White, Successful Business Leader, Author, Inventor and Founder of Business Matters, explains:

The programme looks at women who have moved from traditional business backgrounds to become entrepreneurs; their difficulty in securing bank funds even in light of their exemplary repayment histories and the innovative way in which they get ‘more done with less’.
Here Thomas White of Business Matters talks to Simone Brummelhuis about how she started The NextWomen; the response she has had; why she feels there is so little attention paid to female entrepreneurs within the tech industry and business as a whole; why women are not as focused on promoting themselves, their ability to work as a team and how she sees the future of her work progressing.
Other interviewees include:
• Entrepreneur, CEO, Author of several books and blogger for The Huffington Pots Margaret Hefferman
• Founder of dog day care centre Dogtopia, Amy Nichols
• Founder of Sparksprite, Nancy Procunier
• ‘Momtrepreneur Maven’, Jill Salzman
• CEO of SBTV.com, Susan Wilson Solovic
