Reshma Sohoni, CEO of Seedcamp

Reshma is one of the co-founders of Seedcamp and runs it on a day-to-day basis as its CEO. She joined Seedcamp from the Venture team at 3i. Prior to 3i, Reshma spent over 3 years at Vodafone in their Commercial Strategy team, working across the Europe and Japan footprints in marketing strategy and pricing functions. Reshma started her career in the US in investment banking (Broadview) and venture capital (Softbank). Reshma also serves on the boards of Launch48 and Zoombu along with managing 21 companies in the Seedcamp portfolio.

Maya Moufarek, Regional Marketing Manager EMEA , Google

Maya Moufarek is a marketing professional currently working at Google (GOOG) in London focusing on marketing Google Apps for Consumer and Education. She managed projects such as Google Chrome international launch and the global iGoogle artists campaign. Prior to that she kick started the EMEA emerging markets offices in 2005/6 and the Moscow based marketing team in 2007.
She played a key role in projects that received the Google Founders and Executive Group Awards.
Prior to Google, Maya worked at Cisco Systems (CSCO) the leading supplier of networking equipment & network management for the Internet.
Maya has a multicultural personal background and has lived in Russia, France, the Netherlands and the US before returning to London. She holds a Master’s Degree in Management and a prior degree in International Business.
Maya will highlight some successful online consumer campaigns and how they could be taken further in 2010 at the The NextWomen 2010 Strategy Day.

Clarissa Brook Turner, Founder of NowYouKnowAbout and television and radio presenter

Clarissa Brooke-Turner is the founder of NowYouKnowAbout, a company that makes short, fun and educational films for young children about famous people from history. The Times calls her short films ‘good, well-told stories for children’. There are now 15 biographies about well-known artists, scientists and explorers available on DVD. She is passionate about making general knowledge fun for children. Before starting her own business, Brooke-Turner was a fashion presenter on Granada TV’s ‘This Morning’ for 4 years. She moved into television from a position as Executive Retail Editor at Vogue where she ran trend forecasts and covered all aspects of fashion news. Currently based in Geneva, Switzerland, she is developing further titles for NowYouKnowAbout as well as presenting a weekly radio fashion show. She is a qualified teacher.

Wendy Tan White, Founder and CEO of Moonfruit

Wendy is one of the co-founders, together with her partner, of Moonfruit and Gandi.net – the fast growth internet-based technology companies that allow people to build their own websites themselves. Wendy is a former programmer with a computer science degree from Imperial College London. In 2009 Wendy returned to the business after a 2 year leave in which she started a family. Moonfruit was recently lauded for its use of Twitter to run a hugely successful marketing campaign, whereby they increased their database of potential customers by 20, 000, having only spent £10k.

Tom Harrow, Co-Founder of Findababysitter.com

Tom Harrow is co-founder of find a babysitter, and is a new father and entrepreneur. Tom is passionate about emerging web technologies and social media, and its potential to engage and empower consumers.
Tom discovered his love of web technology in 1997 when he taught himself HTML and built his first website. Tom’s career began as a web developer and lead developer for top web companies and agencies in New Zealand and London. His career developed quickly in to project and product management. He delivered multi-million pound projects for companies including FT.com and Microsoft.
Tom launched find a babysitter in 2006 with co founder Vanessa Cook. With Tom’s technical knowledge and expertise the FAB service has grown in to a powerful consumer platform, utilising the latest geo-tagging search technology to connect parents with childcare candidates.
findababysitter provides an easy to use online service for parents and families to find and connect with child care candidates that live and work locally, including Babysitters, Nanny’s, Au Pairs, Childminders, and Housekeepers. The FAB service is easy and affordable to use and enables family’s to find their own childcare without the expense of an agency.

Natalie Turner, Founder and CEO of Entheo

Natalie is founder of Entheo, a consultancy that assists companies with innovation and the implementation of strategies for change.
Entheo and Natalie specialise in organisational innovation, marketing and business strategy and people development. She has more than fifteen years’ experience in innovation strategy and design and implementation, gained within blue chip companies, corporate incubators, start-ups and consultancies.
With a degree in Politics, an MSC in Economics & Social Psychology and an MBA, Natalie’s intellectual interests include neuroscience and its application to the development of leaders, and social network theory and how it can help us build new forms of people-centred organisations.
Natalie will lead the Strategy Workshop and Clinic and will take part in the panel of entrepreneurs at the The NextWomen 2010 Strategy Day.

Anna Sofat, Founder and CEO of Addidi

Anna Sofat is founder and CEO of Addidi, a financial advisory firm with a women-only clientele for lifestyle, financial and wealth management needs. At the end of September 2008 Anna went on to launch Addidi Business Angels – a group of 100 women who will invest an amount of £1 million per annum in start-up ventures. Kay Vasey, Director of Mesh – an Online Cultural Marketplace Mesh and their first investment – said:
“the angels have been incredibly helpful, well-organised and understanding”.
