Anne-Marie Twigge as our new Managing Director as per September 1st!
As the Founder of The Next Women and in the wake of our 10th Anniversary, I am delighted to announce that we have appointed Anne-Marie Twigge as our new Managing Director as per September 1st.
She will succeed Rixt Herklots as she steps into her new position as an Executive Advisor.
Anne-Marie comes with extensive experience in brand marketing and digital propositions and has helped build and grow several start-ups and institutions internationally, having previously worked with Rabobank, ABN AMRO Clearing, Henkel and De Passage to name a few. We have also collaborated with Anne-Marie in 2020 when we co-created Working Wonders – the online talk show we delivered during the height of the pandemic.
To date The Next Women has designed and built a powerful network of leading entrepreneurs. We have formed ourselves into a trusted partner where it comes to supporting the entrepreneurial trajectories of women through learning programmes, exclusive member gatherings, coaching classes, international pitch competitions and executive partnerships that enable growth.
We are also known for our annual highlight The Next Women Top 100 and Women to Watch, our unique and anticipated presentation of high-achieving women who, through us, can empower and inspire other women to be their own best entrepreneurial self. Achievements that make me very proud of us all.
Now adding Anne-Marie to the team I believe, and look forward to, growing the ambitions we set out to do many years ago. I also want to thank Rixt for the foundation she has tenaciously helped build for us as well as her personal contributions to our member community.
If you wish to join our community or get acquainted with our new managing director please send a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Hope to see you soon.
Founder of The Next Women
“We need to organise our work better ánd smarter” says Martine Meijburg. Meijburg founded Second Degree in 2013; the first LinkedIn marketing agency (worldwide). A success, as the agency became one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands (Silver FD Gazellen Award in 2016), servicing clients such as Philips, KLM and Microsoft.
Martine is an author, public speaker and was listed in The Next Women 100 in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and the Adformatie100 in 2017. She shares with us her experiences as an entrepreneur and member of The Next Women.
She got into the world of recruitment because she showed talent for it and acted on that: at TNW we love playing out your strengths. Now, with her own company and being a mother of two, Dayanara Vonk Ilaria reflects on her journey: “Leadership really is learning how you can influence yourself.”
